March 11th, 2009CPA Profits: How to avoid the dreaded “Google Slap”
March 9th, 2009It is one of the most horrible feelings you can have.
Your CPA campaign in Google Adwords has been humming along, churning out leads for a pittance when one morning you log into Adwords and find out that, overnight, your 17 cent bids are now costing you $17.
Ouch.
You’ve been “Google slapped.”
Often, you don’t even know what you did wrong, and emails to Google reps are often mere exercises in frustrations, as they quote arcane regulations and send you general links that never answer your question … or solve the problem. (I just wrestled with THAT one this morning … sheesh.)
WHY did I get Google slapped, and HOW do I keep it from happening again?
Worse … once you get slapped, who knows how long (maybe forever) your ENTIRE ACCOUNT will be saddled with the “slapped” badge of shame … and higher bid costs on EVERY keyword you submit.
Double ouch.
Solution:
Don’t get Google slapped in the first place
Here is a great free 12 minute video by a CPA professional who shares exactly how he designs his website to prevent the Google slap.

Shocking Comparison: PPC Bully vs. Google Cash Detective 2
March 9th, 2009In a shocking admission that his own software may not quite be able to withstand the March 10 launch power of Google Cash Detective 2, PPC Bully inventor Emil Paz recently offered up his own comparison of the two Adwords competitive intelligence tools.
PPC Competitive Intelligence Spy Tool Smackdown
While both have their advantages, it appears that the teeming crowds may be leaning waaaaay towards the “Google Cash Detective 2″ side and putting pressure on PPC Bully to respond. Point of reference — I have used both tools, so I am not just talking out of my hat.
Here are a few quick quotes from Emil about his PPC Bully software:
“There is a lot of hype lately around GCDetective. I got few questions from people asking me if GCDetective is better or not Vs. PPC Bully…”
“Behind GCDetective stands a true myth, Chris Carpenter. Chris is an Excellent Affiliate Marketer, I do appreciate him a lot, In fact when I first started in Affiliate Marketing I used to read Chris eBook “Google Cash”. It helped me a lot and very fast I turned to be an affiliate marketer myself.”
So kudos to Emil for not trashing a fellow competitor, not something you see much in the marketing world — a man of honor.
Emil goes on to state the differences between PPC Bully ad Google Cash Detective 2, as he sees them:
Google Cash Detective 2 or PPC Bully?
“If you hesitate to decide and consider getting your hands on GCDetective, you should know that GCDetective:
1. Supports USA only (which is a huge market)
2. You can use only the keywords in the Database (there are many KW there)
3. It Costs! (a high setup fee + $100/mo)
There are of course enough benefits in GCDettective and I believe it will be worth the pay. As long as you’ll decide to take action it will help you!”
In many ways, I think he accurately sums up the benefits of his own PPC Bully compared to Google Cash Detective 2.
PPC BULLY ADVANTAGES
- Much simpler interface, can use immediately
- PPC Bully supports 20+ countries
- PPC Bully can run campaigns in Japanese and French without even understanding the languages
- PPC Bully is cheaper ( ~ $49/month 500 keywords)
CONS: Keyword limits, must wait 2-3 weeks for data, no link of output to Adwords
GOOGLE CASH DETECTIVE 2 ADVANTAGES
- Immediate results from keywords already in database
- Google Automator interface transfer research to Adwords, PLUS monitors bids for highest ROI.
- Wildcard searches let you X-ray virtually any campaign, strips Clickbank hoplinks down to the bone to reveal EVERY person who runs a particular product campaign, etc
CONS: Expensive, not a toy, requires learning curve (training videos available), USA data only, limited to data already gathered (searches more as keywords are entered), not cheap.
In summation, Google Cash Detective 2 is a heavyweight professional PPC campaign tool with features and functionality far beyond anything else on the market. However, you will pay for it.
If you are a serious PPCer who knows how to make money with Adwords (or intend to be), this will just enhance your capabilities by making sure you ONLY target markets, keywords, and ads with a high chance of success.
PPC Bully gives you a small portion of this capability, but is much cheaper. If you are just getting your feet wet in PPC, PPC Bully might be the place to start if you are “Not sure” about surviving in the PPC environment.
If you plan to slap Google silly, and rip PPC profits out of Google’s greedy clutching little hands, then Google Cash Detective 2 is the way to go. Cost be damned! Just make so much that the monthly fee doesn’t matter.
I’ll let you look at each for yourself and decide:
Google Cash Detective 2 Strips Giant CPA Network Naked in Front of Audience
March 7th, 2009Has Google Adwords slapped you down?
Does even starting an Adwords PPC campaign seem overwhelming?
Do you have limited financial resources, and not sure if you can tolerate the normal PPC learning curve losses?
What if you had a Google Adwords PPC system that would show you, BEFORE YOU STARTED, the most likely profitable campaigns?
What if you could hook into a piece of automated online software that monitored successful PPC campaigns 24/7? And that could tell you TODAY, right now, what was happening … and not force you to wait 2 weeks for competitive intelligence?
What if you could type in almost any keyword, and immediately discover if the campaigns run by others for the keyword was profitable … exactly how many searches were made each month … what specific ads they used … how much their CPC was … how long the ad had been running … what page position they held with the ad .. even what their landing pages looked like?
In other words, you could tell the PPC WINNERS … before you even began.
What would YOU do with this information?
Could you maybe … CLONE their approach, use their keywords, match their profitable ad position, dump the keywords that lost money and only use the keywords that MADE money?
Or would you just walk away from all this money LAYING ON THE TABLE for someone to pick up?
We’ve uncovered just such a piece of software, and a 2 hour “insiders only” video webinar where a major CPA network shares with its top marketers how to best use this new tool to rake in the cash.
About 30 minutes in the actual software is demoed, with surprising results for everyone as a random search uncovers a huge pot of money just waiting to be exploited – and the search idea was generated from a random term on a poster, of all things. You can sign up to receive more free insider training videos at the end.
So grab your favorite relaxing beverage, and settle back to see how the Google Cash Detective 2 software uncovers competitive intelligence details that shocks even the owner of this giant CPA network.
(He didn’t realize that the Google Cash Detective would strip his OWN company “naked” in front of his audience …)
Is it worth it to have Look Smart and Yahoo pay per click?
March 6th, 2009Tamatha G asked:
7 years ago we listed with Look Smart and have been with Yahoo pay-per-click for about 4 years. We are on a tight budget and want to discontinue this service. Our clicking budget is not huge, will this hurt our business?
I am assuming that our name is out on different search engines.
Thank you!

March 6th, 2009Google Shadow vs. Google Cash Detective | Which?
March 6th, 2009The recent launch of “The Google Shadow“ and “Google Cash Detective 2“ online tools leave one in a quandry: which is best?
In many ways, it depends on the style with which you approach your Adwords pay-per-click campaigns.
Google Shadow: Leaving the PPC Competition in the Dust
The Google Shadow tool allows you to throw massive numbers of PPC campaigns at Google with a tool that, once set up, practically writes the ads for you and generates campaigns at eye-popping, hopped-up-on-meth speed. I’ve never seen anything like it, and the thought that went into it is impressive.
It is certainly written for a professional PPCer from the “see what sticks on the wall” school of pay-per-click. It works great with either Clickbank, CJ, or any other kind of PPC campaigns.
The Other Side of the Coin: Google Cash Detective 2
Google Cash Detective 2, on the other hand, is a more sophisticated, thoughtful tool. If Google Shadow is the brash, impetuous younger brother, Goggle Cash Detective 2 is his better-behaved, smart-kid older brother from the “gonna be a surgeon” school of PPC.
Unlike the previous generation Cash Detective software, which ran on your own website (and caused hosting and other problems, from reports), this 2nd generation software is a technological leap forward.
It is hosted on THEIR OWN heavy-weight “cloud-computing” environment servers, which eliminates most of the practical hosting complaints about the earlier incarnation of Cash Detective. While it also integrates with Google Adwords campaigns, its most powerful feature is that it stores an enormous amount of recent PAST information on PPC campaigns; enter a keyword, and it will show you exactly how any searches, the cost per click, and how long the ads ran … and which ads were most profitable.
It also has the ability to take URL wildcard searches. For example, you can enter any Clickbank hoplink, and it will show you EVERY campaign running for that product, and who is profitable–and who isn’t. Talk about being stripped naked!
The competitors WITHOUT this tool are simply defenseless.
Most amazing, it does this WITHOUT asking you to wait two weeks for results, as most PPC spy tools do. It also costs about twice as much per month as Google Shadow, but is targeted at the deadly serious PPC professional who doesn’t intend to take any prisoners–and who DOES intend to see exactly what the most profitable campaigns are doing, and then steal their thunder, and eat them for lunch.
The Google Shadow: Brash, fast, and flashy.
Google Cash Detective 2: Silent, serious, and deadly.
Both have their niche, and in the end it may depend on your OWN personality as to which of these two outstanding Adwords PPC domination tools is best for you.
